Concept: A tale of two perspectives.
Written treatment
This project is based on the relationship between light and dark. The balance between the two could be taken at face value or be symbolic of inner emotions, reflection, and the search for identity.
The deliverable was an animation that showcased a sequence of three transitions. Later this past year, I returned to this project with the intent of blending 2 and 3-dimensional graphics while keeping core elements of my concept present.

My palette was based on colors of 3D glasses. I wanted to play into a digital aesthetic with distortion and chromatic aberration.

Combining 2D and 3D graphics in a way that stayed cohesive, the transition between the two styles, and render times for my 3D environments proved to be the challenges with Duality.
